Hello everyone! Guess what? Well, two things: First, I have moved back to the United States – no worries, Brits, we are still connected with our support systems though out London and hope to continue our floating Stitch & Bitches in local venues, churches and private homes! Second, I have signed a lease to open the very first Pink Pom-Pom Project (PPPP) Crafting Support Center for Cancer patients in Southport, Connecticut!
What a wonderful opportunity to open up and share and support my local community through what can be the worst time in a cancer patient’s life! Crafting saved me and I know we will do our best to help others stay on track!
a little square LLC will partner with the PPPP to help support and keep the Center open, provide FREE crafting materials to impoverished children in our local Boys & Girl’s Clubs, creating V.O.T.Y. quilts for our Local Volunteering Heros in Cancer Support Centers, and bringing our message across the pond to third world nations to teach young adults new crafts and means of self support. The PPPP intend to teach crafting to children 5 years +, host a variety of crafting sessions for young adults, and have a permanent Stitch & Bitch stationed in the ‘Big Room’.
Please stay tuned in! We’ll be documenting every step of the way and hope to introduce everyone to the lovely men and women helping in this fabulous cause!
We hope to open mid-March. Thank you for your support!
